Yilan Kavalan Nationality Development Association

The Qilipan tribe located in Donggang Village, Zhuangwei Township is one of the forty-five societies recorded by the Dutch in the 17th century. This place was once established by the Qing government to protect the Kavalan people in the face of a large number of Han immigrants. The next reservation – where Kaliu Shapo is located.

Qilipan Tribal Culture and Farming Experience

• Based on the cultural inheritance of the Qilipan tribe and combined with the local farming experience, it cooperates with the surrounding farmers and activates the tribe.

1. Farming in August: In conjunction with the rich peanut production month in August, we will organize a fun farming experience in Zhuangwei to pull peanuts on the ground, 10 people in a group.
   Peanuts are priced according to the current season price.
2. September Culture: Kavalan Banana Shredded Cultural Experience Banana Scraping Activity, 10 people in a group.
   Fee: NT$200 per person

3. October culture: DIY flying fish ornaments, made of banana tree Erlang skin, 6 people in a group.
   Fee: NT$250 per person
   Duration: 1 hour
4. Farming in November: In conjunction with the rich season of white radish in November, experience the fun of picking white radish.
   White radish is calculated according to the current season price.
5. Culture in December: Ribbon weaving machine experience, weaving your own mobile phone belt, 6 people in a group.
   Fee: NT$350 per person
   Duration: 2 hours
6. Farming in January: In conjunction with the rich season of white radish in January, experience the fun of picking white radish.

7. Cultural Lecture in February: Yilan County Qili Banshe has been revitalized in the past few years, and 10 people in a group.
