Ilid Kaolo (Ami: Ilid Kaolo), a Taiwanese singer, was born in Fenglin Township, Hualien County, a member of the Ami tribe of Fengxin tribe, and grew up in Taipei after the age of seven. In 2010, he and her husband Chen Guanyu and others invested in organic rice planting in Nan’ao Township, Yilan County, becoming a musician who grows rice with the left hand and writes songs with the right hand.
