2024 Zhuangwei Living Arts Festival | Zhuangwei Coast Iron Horse Expedition Team is setting off!
We will set off on bicycles from the Zhuangwei Sand Dune Ecological Park and be led by professional riding instructors from the “Yilan and Luodong Community University Kongming Team”. Along the way, we will visit local shops, special attractions, and landscape art, where we will eat, play, and have fun. Coastal scenery, discover the story of Zhuangwei! Finally, return to the “Zhuangwei Living Arts Festival” to enjoy Qiu Haihai’s concert and market shopping time freely. (There is also a free market coupon worth 100nt!)

- Yongzhen Coastal Recreation Area
The vast seascape and long stretches of beach are the main features that attract many friends here. There are plank roads and viewing pavilions to overlook Guishan Island on the sea.
Da - Dafu Seaview Rising Sun Platform
Taking the shape of “net”, the state of “wave”, and the “sampan platform” as the images, the local sand dune terrain was used to integrate the memories of catching eels in winter and catching eels in summer into the viewing platform, and the three-dimensional framed scenery was designed with the place name “Dafu” Landmark, a highlight of the check-in landscape with local characteristics. - Dafu Butian Temple
It is one of the few temples dedicated to Nuwa Empress as the main deity, and it is also the only Nuwa Empress temple in Yilan County. - Niutousi – Cultivating Cattle Primary School (Experience Activity)

Huang Shengyuan Architects planned and designed the project based on the core concept of “clearing out of the valley and seeing the dunes”, integrating local natural elements from Yilan to present the dune landscape and the construction of sand cave architectural spaces. It plans to include a visitor center, a Weixiao Village Pavilion and other spaces.

- Azu’s earthenware room (Experience Activity)
The “wooden rice mill” passed down by the Xu family from generation to generation is a log rice milling facility. The structure of the entire machine is made of wooden tenons without any iron nails. It is supplemented by belts to drive the transportation power to harvest the rice. The rice is hulled and refined into brown rice or white rice. Listen to ancient and warm agricultural stories and drink a cup of fragrant and warm brown rice tea. - Guanlaoye Leisure Farm (Experience Activity)
A place where you can relive your childhood memories! There are rural experience tours with different agricultural products throughout the year. In summer, come and experience the refreshing fried ice, and learn about summer fruits and creative processed products. - Donggang Banyan Tree Park
The southern exit of the coastal bicycle path is one of the recreational spots on the bicycle path. It is named after the lush branches intertwined into a natural wonder that blocks the sun. It has also become a relay for cyclists and tourists to enjoy the cool weather in summer. point. - Lanyang River Waterbird Sanctuary
The estuary of Lanyang Creek, Yilan River and Dongshan River is the wetland area east of the Kavalan Bridge on the coastal highway in the north of Provincial Line 2. A well-known bird watching base on the Yilan Plain, a total of 236 species of birds have been recorded over the years. Gulls can be seen all year round, making it the place with the most species of gulls in Taiwan. - Sea view swing in Xianhou Community
There is a swing called the world’s loneliest swing on the beach on the left bank of the estuary of Lanyang Creek. Since ocean currents bring a lot of ocean driftwood and debris to accumulate on the beach, local residents of the Xianhou community and the founder of the Gamalan Driftwood Art School jointly created it. Those who can ride a bicycle independently (the vehicle is a normal pedal bicycle, and the height is 150cm or more)
The whole activity time is about 3.5 hours (including local experience and scenery viewing time), please consider the physical strength and health of the participants.

- The vehicle used is a general pedal bicycle. It is recommended that the person is over 150cm tall. You need to ride alone and not double-loaded. The distance and time required for active riding are long. Please evaluate your own physical strength and health.
